Manteaf is a gentle giant that protects the forest and all its inhabitants. At its core is a burning flame that keeps it alive.

The city recognizes the Manteaf’s protecting aura and built a stone replica within the city as a guardian to the city.

Field Notes:

• Manteaf has special camouflaging abilities that at a first glance can look like they are a part of the natural forest setting. It was definitely a shock to see a tree-like entity moving around.
• I instantly felt a sense of security when I approached my first Manteaf.
